The piece of footage at the bottom of the page has been recorded from inside a Neunelfer whose owner has been practicing his Ring mantra all month, as we've shown you in the past.

This time around, the highlight of the lap you're about to check out has to do with a battle involving a Gumpert Apollo.

Keep in mind that we're talking about an uber-limited supercar whose Speed version can go round the infamous German track in 7:11.57, which places it just ahead of the 991.2 GT3.

If you're in a hurry, you can skip to the 2:20 point of the clip for the said battle. Oh, and those of you who are tuned into our Nurburgring stories might be familiar with the BMW Z4 M Coupe that plays with the two for a brief moment.

It's worth noting that the tale of the 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 hasn't been fully offered to us yet. To be more precise, the German automotive producer has yet to unveil the Touring Package for the new GT3.

We're talking about a group of options that will emphasize the daily driver aura of the GT Division machine.

Earlier today, we brought you the most recent spyshots of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package and it looks like the posterior of the machine will mix the Carrera/Carrera S' active rear wing with the 911 R-borrowed diffuser present on the standard GT3, if we may call it so.

The rumor mill talks about the automaker set to drop the GT3 Touring Pack next month, at the Frankfurt Motor Show and we could get our hands on its details even sooner.
