Deliveries of the all-new Audi R8 have started in Germany. In fact, some people have even tried getting extra parts from the Audi Exclusive catalog. This V10 model is the first we've seen with custom components, and we're sharing the photos with you guys.
The first thing we noticed about the R8 V10 is the color Santorinblau paint, Santorini Blue Pearlescent for us English speakers. Part code Q0Q0, this is quite different to the color sold under the same name by BMW since before the days of the 8-Series.
Also fitted to this €200,000 German supercar are a set of 10-spoke Y-Design alloy wheels with an aluminum finish (code 40G). The engine bay is fully coated in carbon fiber (code NM5), and so are the side blades feeding the 570 horsepower V10.
However, it's the interior we're most impressed with because it's the one that deviates the most from standard Audi R8 design. To start off, we have door panel inserts in Havana Brown leather. The black leather bits also have brown stitching for extra contrast. The seats are also covered in the same Brown hide and have black stitching in a quilted design. As for the roof, we have tanned Alcantara that matches the carpets of the car.
This relatively retro-styled leather is in stark contrast with the dashboard, which features the 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit screen, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and controls integrated into the air vents. Many of the plastic parts remind you of the Lamborghini Huracan, the R8's sister car.
You can pick up your own Audi R8 from €165,000 in Germany today, but for the ultimate experience offered by the V10 Plus, you'll need closer to €200,000.
