After first showing it to certain members of the press during this year's annual Daimler AG press conference and the peeps from MB Passion snatching a photo of it, the first official image of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe (C217) has been leaked.
We already know how much of its interior looks like, so the only unknown was how much of the Concept S-Class Coupe's gorgeous lines were kept by the production version.
As it turns out, pretty much every exterior line except for the shark-nose look of the engine grille has remained untouched, with the 2015 S-Class Coupe looking just as beautiful as the Alubeam-colored concept car at the 2014 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The production model is to be presented to the public at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month, but the first press release and a batch of official images is expected to hit our screens as early as this week.
The leaked image is most definitely showing an S 500 Coupe model with the AMG bodykit package, and the front bumper is quasi-identical to the new style implemented by the E-Class W212 facelift. In other words, we are expecting the S 63 AMG Coupe model to feature a front bumper design similar to that from the E 63 AMG W212 facelift as well.
Stay tuned for more info in the upcoming days, but meanwhile, why don't you take a look at the Concept S-Class Coupe images bellow and just replace the engine grille with the one from above in your mind, because that is 99 percent of the production car.
