Last month we were reporting that Maserati is readying a new, smaller GrandTurismo model that will use a shortened version of the platform that underpins the new Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans.
Now, a new report, this time from Edmunds, claims that the next Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio, which are scheduled to arrive in 2015, will reveal a new styling director for the Italian company.
The new strategy is part of Maserati's plans to increase sale from under 7,000 units per year to 50,000 examples by 2015. In addition, our source says the Modena-based manufacturer could also introduce an all-new two-seater sportscar to the its lineup.
In other related news, the US order guide for the 2014 Maserati Ghibli has surfaced on the web today, unveiling several options and features the new luxury sedan will become available with.
