On looks at least, the Sedona / Carnival is a clear winner. A big improvement on the current generation can be seen, both in Kia's teaser sketch and in our spyshots. The tiger nose grille is now very cleanly and sharply designed, without any curves. The 2015 Sedona almost looks like a combination between Mercedes' new protruding grilles and Audi's new straight lines, as seen on the TT.
There's a good chance Sedona will be based on the same platform as the Cadenza sedan, which starts at $35,100 in America. This could mean the same 3.3-liter GDI V6 for the top models, but the really competitive cars will get the much less impressive 2.5-liter GDI four-banger.
We'll remind you that the current generation Sedona MInivan is sold in America from $25,900 and fitted with a 3.5-liter 269 horsepower V6 that gets 17 city/24 highway. The oldest model in their lineup, it dates back to 2006.
