Akrapovic announces another addition to their fast-growing line of off-road exhausts, this in the shape of a three-product collection for the 2015 Honda CRF450R. Honda’s flagship off-road machine will be upgradable with three aftermarket systems which will soon be available at authorized distributors, each offering various degrees of performance boost according to the rider’s purpose and budget.
The first upgrade is a Slip-On Line system, offering a weight reduction for the bike while providing enhanced power and torque, plus increased durability and superior design. The Slip-On is crafted from titanium and had a scratch-resistant outer sleeve for increased protection and easy cleaning. The cans meet the FIM noise limits and are exceedingly easy to swap with the OEM ones within minutes.
At the middle of the new line-up Akrapovic is offering the Racing Line complete exhaust system for the 2015 CRF450R, the next step up from the introductory Slip-On cans. The Racing Line system is complete with high-grade stainless steel headers and a titanium silencer and is delivered with the same scratch-resistant, easy-to-clean surface treatment. The system is also FIM noise-compliant.
The Evolution Line is the flagship exhaust system Akrapovic has prepared for the 2015 CRF450R. Made entirely from lightweight titanium, including the end cap, the system shaves even more weight off the bike while providing a 3.1 horsepower boost to your Honda. Couple this with the 1.1 kg (2.4 lb) weight reduction for an even broader smile on the racers’ faces after installing the Evo line exhausts.
Akrapovic’s new exhausts for the 2014 Honda CRF450R will soon arrive in dealerships and until then you can enjoy the Akrapovic sound of these cans while you count the cash.
