Revealed a few days ago, right before the 2014 Detroit Auto Show opened its doors to the automotive press, the 2015 GMC Canyon completed GM’s mid-size pickup truck lineup by joining the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado.
Developed to compete agains the Toyota Tacoma, the segment’s current main player, and the Nissan Frontier, the GMC Canyon adds a number of cool and upscale feature to the Chevy Colorado and comes with a bold front end design borrowed from its bigger brother, the 2014 GMC Sierra.
The new mid-size truck will only become available in the second half of the year, so we’ll have to be patient until we get the chance to climb behind its steering wheel. However, the guys over at TFL Truck were lucky enough to get up close and personal with the new Canyon at the Cobo Center and quickly published a sneak preview with the truck.
It’s actually more than that, as they got to have a closer look at the vehicle’s exterior and interior, including some valuable insight from Roger McCormack, GMC’s marketing director. Scroll below to watch the video and stay tuned for further details.
