Ford Motor Company has taken the wraps off the 2015 Expedition, ahead of the vehicle’s public debut at the DFW Auto Show in Dallas, Texas, earlier today.
Updated with an all-new front end with redesigned headlamps, LED fog lamps and a restyled grille, the facelifted SUV also features a revised tailgate, new 22-inch wheels and chrome exhaust pipes.

Inside, the 2015 Expedition gained a new center stack with an 8-inch touch screen, two full-color 4.2-inch screens, ambient LED lighting and a 10-speaker 7-watt Sony audio system. Additionally, Ford is introducing a Platinum trim package with “buttery-soft and smooth to the touch” leather seats.

Under the hood, the 2015 Expedition will feature the same 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 introduced on the luxurious 2015 Lincoln Navigator. Ford has yet to reveal performance figures, but the same unit delivers “at least” 370 hp and 430 pound-feet (582 Nm) of torque in the Navigator. The twin-turbo mill replaces the traditional 5.4-liter V8 and comes with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.

The updated Expedition will become available in two lengths - 119 inch (3,022mm) wheelbase standard version and the 131 inch (3,327mm) wheelbase EL model. More details on the 2015 Expedition are available in the official press release below.
