Yesterday we gave you the first taste of the upcoming Shooting Brake version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA in the snow, while today the same car returns on our computer screens courtesy of a couple of different shots done near the Arctic Circle.
As some of you know, Lapland is a pretty good place to spot arctic wildlife, people who have never worn a Hawaiian shirt and unreleased cars that are cold-weather testing.

This is where a pre-production prototype of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake is now running around in the freezing weather and acting like it has nothing to hide.

Fortunately for the curious out there, the grey sheets covering part of the car's rear aren't doing a very good job of protecting the model's design from prying eyes, so it's pretty easy to guess how the production version will look.

Set to be officially unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the CLA Shooting Brake X117 will invent yet another niche for Mercedes-Benz, after its four-door brother did the same in the compact segment.
