We already know how the new model year Cadillac ATS looks like with and without camouflage. We also know that the automaker charges $38,990 for the least expensive 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe. But what we didn’t know (until a few moments ago) is how the smallest Caddy model looks like whilst on the move.
The right person at the right moment at the right location with the right video recording abilities is the type of situation that offered us the first running footage of the 2015 Cadillac ATS sedan in production-ready guise. Specifically, the car was spotted during a promo shoot.

According to the user that uploaded the video on YouTube, “Cadillac's newest television commercial for the 2015 ATS sedan was filmed exclusively in Niagara's wine area.” And from the looks of it, the landscape does look like the world renowned Niagara Escarpment American Viticultural Area.

Wine enthusiasts might recognize this name thanks to some pretty nice grape varieties that are cultivated here, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Unfortunately for wine fans that happen to read this article, we’re autoevolution and what we’re most interested about is the car spotted.

Escorted by a police car, the all-new 2015 Cadillac ATS sedan featured in the clip you can check out below is being filmed by a camera attached to an older generation Mercedes-Benz M-Class sport utility vehicle, most probably a W163 in ML 55 AMG guise. The blacked out camera car is fitted with an industry standard gyrostabilized camera crane, a piece of kit used by Hollywood directors for filming flicks like Need For Speed, Fast & Furious and all the rest of the action packed boy racer blockbusters.

As for the 2015 Cadillac ATS sedan, the vehicle caught on film is a carbon copy of what our crack teen of spy photographers spotted back at the beginning of May. Highlight changes over the outgoing model year include a subtly revised front fascia, the modern design wreathless Cadillac crest, better materials and finish throughout the cabin, Siri Eyes Free compatibility, OnStar 4G LTE integration as well as a handful of new exterior hues.
