As the ATS is nearing the second half of its production life-cycle, the Detroit-based manufacturer breathes new life into the compact luxury sports sedan with a mild facelift. However, the nip and tuck job isn't as major as we've expected. As opposed to the outgoing model, the all-new CTS sedan borrows heavily from the Coupe's styling cues.
The most striking change is the front badge that features the modern Cadillac shield logo. Featuring a sleeker and more streamline design, the 2015 ATS Coupe was the first Caddy model to adopt the new badge, the second being its four-door brother our spy photographers just spied camo-less. Dropping the laurel wreaths from the logo was first confirmed by Cadillac officials ever since the Elmiraj Concept was revealed at Pebble Beach in 2013.

Retaining the iconic crest shape and color palette with geometric grid from the original Cadillac family coat of arms, the new badge isn't that much of a far cry from its predecessor. It actually looks marginally better thanks to the added width coupled to the revamped black plastic radiator grille featuring polished chrome trim.

The other significant change applied to the 2015 Cadillac ATS sedan is the redesigned lower grille. Styling-wise, the outgoing model features a three-piece job with added chrome detailing and vertical fog lights. The facelift reunites the three-piece grille into a single big one, horizontally traversed by a slim chrome ornament. As for the fog lights, they retain the shape of the ones from the 2013 model year, but feature a fresher clear glass design.

Although unconfirmed, expect to see the all-new 2015 Cadillac CTS sedan in a dealer showroom near you this fall.
