Earlier today we showed you the latest spy photos depicting the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG W205 while having a stroll somewhere in Germany.
That “somewhere” wasn't disclosed to us by the spy photographers, but the following set of images makes it pretty clear where it was shot - and that is the mighty Nurburgring Nordschleife.

Also known as “The Green Hell” thanks to Sir Jackie Stewart, the Nurburgring Nordschleife is arguably the most famous and one of the most demanding racing tracks in the world, both for the cars and the drivers.

This is why most performance car makers usually use it to hone the best settings out of their sports cars before letting them free in the showrooms all over the world.

As expected, the upcoming C 63 AMG W205 is largely developed using countless laps of the 'Ring, and with just about half a year until it gets launched, the last minute preparations for its chassis are being made on the old circuit.

If you looks closely, you will see that the white pre-production prototype in the adjacent photos is sporting two different types of rims, with the ones from the track showing a car with non-identical front and rear wheels.

The much wider front track is also clearly visible, as are the AMG-specific design bits such as the A-shaped front bumper, four-exit exhaust, wider tires and an aerodynamic lip for the trunk.

Powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a total displacement of just four liters, the “base” version of the future C 63 AMG W205 is said to develop 476 hp and at least 650 Nm (479 lb ft) of torque.

Later on in the pipeline we can also expect an S-Model version of the cars, which may or may not come with 4Matic all-wheel drive and at least 510 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb ft) of torque. The car is expected to be revealed at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
