Like we said earlier, the new Volkswagen Polo is the hit car of the week, not only because of official info but through leaked intel as well. This time around, we got our sources straight from the source, Germany. There, the car has already been priced on the official website and is fully configurable.
Available right now, the new 2014 Polo starts in Germany at €12,450, but only for the base Trendline model with a 1-liter, 60 PS engine, a manual gearbox and three doors.
If you want a more powerful 1.2-liter TSI engine, you can only get that with the Confortline models or higher still, the Highline. Oddly, we couldn't find a single diesel engine in the configurator. We think this is because the 1.4-liter TDI they announced is not available for production yet.
We've also discovered one of the brochures for the car. In it, you will find the new colors for 2014 (Sunset Red, Oryx White and Cornflower Blue), the fact that the Polo now has a reversing camera and also a new trim level called "Fresh". You can find that below this story, but be warned: it's in German, so be prepared to read everything twice.
