The 2014 Lexus IS and Corolla models are not the only Toyota vehicles to get nominated in the North American Car/Truck of the Year, as the recently released Tundra pickup truck got included too.
Apart from the 12-car short list released earlier, the 50 North American auto writers jury have released the 12-truck/utility nominee list, where the new Tundra competes with Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra in the pickup class and with SUVs such as the Acura MDX, BMW X5, Buick Encore, Hyundai Santa Fe LWB, Jeep Cherokee, and Nissan Rogue.
The 2014 Toyota Tundra comes with a more American bolder look, dominated by a huge chromed grille and slightly frowned headlights, muscular wheel arches and three-piece bumpers. Engine choice is the same, while the interior has been slightly redesigned to offer more comfort and accessibility.
