It looks like the Indian market will have to wait a bit more for the new 2014 Toyota Corolla to arrive, as it will be firstly showcased in February there and it will be later sent into production.
The all-new Toyota Corolla will be showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, taking place in February 2014 in Noida. Much later, the model will enter production at the company’s Bidadi plant for Asian markets.
The Indian market will get the European version of the Toyota Corolla, which differs a bit from the US spec, using a different front fascia and trim levels.
Powering it will be a 1.4-liter making 88 PS and 205 Nm of torque as well as a bigger 1.8-liter VVT-i making 140 PS/173 Nm connected wither to a 6-speed transmission or a CVT.
The new Corolla is expected to be priced between 10 to 15 lakhs.
