Apart from the unique styling and better equipment, the 2014 Toyota Corolla S is also said to be the sportier version of the well-known nameplate.
AutoGuide tested it recently and they say that the Corolla S is not sporty at all. But don’t let that make you upset now if you were planning to get one soon, as the compact sedan comes with a lot more to compensate.

First of all is the interior, that has been completely restyled and received better materials. The S model also comes with blue striping on the interior to match the color of the fabric seats, giving it a bit more personality.

Next comes the new CVT, which nicely simulates gear changes and also help with the fuel economy, averaging 33 mpg. The “sporty” steering wheel-mounted paddles will only let you alter the simulated gear changing timing, while the Sport button will let the engine rev more.
