Apart from the visual and technological upgrades, the 2014 Toyota Corolla also gained a new trim level - the LE Eco - which was designed to offer increased mileage and power.
Yes, power. The most economical Corolla is also the most powerful of all, having a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine under its hood that delivers 140 hp to the front wheels via a CVT. The setup offers a combined fuel economy of 35 mpg, which is about 4 mpg more than a none-Eco model.

Edmunds have been testing the 2014 Toyota Corolla LE Eco for a while and consider it to excel at being a dependable mode of transportation, “representing a sensible choice for those who need a long-term commitment that fits into a tight budget.”
