Like when cavemen were trying to bring home the best sabertooth example they could kill in order to attract cavewomen and mate after, today’s males are buying the most expensive and powerful cars to get the girls. It’s that simple and no one can stand and object that a man would spend a truckload of cash on a Ferporschini just to drive it alone... unless he is gay of course.
However, with the chance that I will get a bit misogynistic here, there are few women today that have a clue about how cars work and why a 700 hp road demon costs a fortune. The girls go with a more simplistic evaluation method - if it looks nice and has the right color its expensive and you must be loaded. Also, an open top will boost your chances.
But then, why spend so much on a Ferporschini and drive it occasionally, when you can get a 2014 Toyota Corolla S which looks good enough to get you a lady just as you park at work.
