As every automaker is going for car-based crossovers, Toyota still makes oldschool body-on-frame SUVs and the 2014 4Runner is one of them.
The new 4Runner was recently reviewed by TFL Car, that found it quite impressive for its off-road abilities - strong chassis, plenty of ground clearance, beefy wheels and a off-road terrain management system to deliver power according to different conditions.
Outside, the new 4Runner is not too different from the 2013 version, coming with a redesigned front end, actually three, depending on what grade you choose, as well as a slightly updated rear end. The interior feels more luxurious now, thanks to some wood inserts, a few repositioned lines and new tech.
