Now that we have the specs for the 2014 Toyota 4Runner, let’s hear some impressions from someone who actually got the chance to drive it.
The facelifted 4Runner got recently drove by Autoblog and while most reviewers got to test it only on tarmac, they gone full off-road to see how it will tackle with the rocks, mud, boulders and rotten tree trunks.
The 4-liter V6 bolted to the five-speed automatic transmission seems to be just what the car needs to overcome most of the obstacles as the reviewer said. Still, if someone would need some extra horses, TRD provides a supercharger that adds nearly 70 hp.
They also say that the new design is a bit confusing but it works just fine. See the other notes as well as a batch of photos with the 4Runner playing in the woods here at autoblog.
