We already know the folks over at Roush are very careful with what kind of tires they’re fitting to the 2014 Stage 3, but we just found out they like snow drifting as well.
In the video you’re about to see below, Roush Performance is showcasing a new set of Pirelli tires that were fitted on Jack Roush Jr’s 2014 Stange 3 Mustang. The vehicle was prepared for the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge, with the engine sending no less than 700 hp to the rear wheels.
That sounds just about right for drifting, and the new tires seem to work pretty well in both snow and ice. Unfortunately, everything was filmed with a GoPro mounted near one of the rear wheels, which means the footage doesn’t show the entire vehicle. Hopefully, a new, better video will be posted soon.
