Bimmer fans might say the 2014 Lexus IS lacks the power to stand in front of the new 3 Series. We don’t care.
We love the new IS just like we love American muscle cars - not for their performance on the track, but for their unique styling, sound and exclusivity (if you are anywhere else than in America of course).
Same goes for the IS 350 that was recently tested by Kelley Blue Book. It’s 3.5-liter V6 might not be as powerful as its opponents, but the 306 hp will be delivered in a “smooth but firm” manner getting you up to speed in no time. On the other hand, the automaker’s new welding technology together with the tuned suspension makes for a very good ride, absorbing road imperfections without letting the driver clueless about what he drives on.
In styling matter, there can be only one word to describe the car - brilliant. And the F Sport pack adds more awesomeness to the combination, like those two extra vents on the bumper that changes everything, an LFA-inspired gauge cluster and that cool red/black interior.
Still not convinced? Check what KBB has to say about it in the video bellow.
