The new Lexus IS F Sport aims directly at its German competition, represented by the BMW 3 Series and the Audi S4.
However, the F Sport IS 350 doesn’t add any more power to the 3.5-liter V6 developing 306 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. Instead, it offers a fine-tuned suspension, a more aggressive front bumper, 18-inch double-spoked rims, nice leather interior, powerful Mark Levinson sound system, an LFA-inspired gauge cluster and more.
Aided by a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, the V6 engine pushes the new IS from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds (AWD version) and reaches a limited top speed of 131 mph.
Recently tested by The Fast Lane Car, the Lexus IS 350 F Sport AWD made a good impression with the guys, for not being boring and offering a good amount of fun.
