The previous generation Lexus GX needed at least a visual refresh to make it more desirable among the mid-sized SUV customers. Well, that change has arrived and the 2014 GS 460 will come with both nice looks and more features.
Starting with the exterior, the 2014 Lexus GX 460 received the imposing spindle-design grille that defines the automaker’s design orientations, new LED headlamps and daytime running lights and even LED foglamps for the Premium and Luxury packs, while the rear receives clear taillamps.
The GX 460 Premium trim level now becomes the GX Luxury and gains Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert system, Intuitive Parking Assist and Liquid Graphite finished 18-inch six-spoke alloy wheels. The Premium pack will feature LED foglamps, windshield deicer, rain-sensing wipers, heated/ventilated front seats, 3-zone climate control, touchscreen navigation, Intuitive Parking, leather trimmed interior and Mahogany wood trimmings.
Other new features include Trailer sway control, NuLuxe trim with natural grain, Linear Espresso Wood/Abyss Black trim and headlamp washers.
