With a stylish sleek design and 416 horses under the hood all channeled to the rear wheels, the Lexus IS F can handle the track very good while also remaining a comfortable and practical ride for every day use.
The 2014 IS F won’t gain the magnificent 2014 IS’ design, but it will get some interesting bits and pieces to keep it desirable for one more year.
Power will be offered by the same 416-hp 5-liter V8 gasoline engine coupled to an eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission. But while the power stays the same, its chassis has been retuned on the Nurburgring, Circuit Paul Ricard and Fiji Speedway.
For 2014, the Lexus IS F gains LED foglamps, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, black Alcantara trim on the doors and center console cover and black full semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats to replace the black Alcantara and leather-trimmed ones. Also, all the headrests will be embossed with the “F” logo and the red leather-trimmed seats will receive black Alcantara inserts with red perforations an black leather-trimmed headrests.
Luxury options for the new IS F include a 14-speaker 300 W Mark Levinson sound system, Intuitive Park Assist, Voice Command navigation system and rear back-up camera.
