The Lexus GS was offered in Malaysia in five variants - the GS 250, GS 250 Luxury, GS 250 F Sport, GS 350 Luxury, GS 350 F Sport and the GS 450h which is not on sale anymore.
Missing a hybrid powertrain on the local market, Lexus has introduced the recently unveiled GS 300h in its Malaysian lineup, which is powered by the same powertrain found on the IS 300h - a 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle gasoline engine and an electric motor, which boosts its 178 hp and 221 Nm to 220 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
For about RM536,800, the Lexus GS 300h comes with LED daytime running lights and headlamps, 18-inch rims, keyless entry and start/stop button, moonroof, leather trimmed interior, head-up display and more.
