The Lexus ES 250 recently got showcased at the 2013 Johannesburg International Motor Show, marking its introduction on the South African market.
Offering best in class interior space, luxury and affordability, the ES will expand the current Lexus model range, slotting in just bellow the IS from a price point of view.
“The introduction of ES to the local market is a direct result of customer demand for a more accessible, value-oriented luxury offering from Lexus and we are pleased to have secured not one, but two options for them while simultaneously expanding our innovative hybrid vehicle portfolio.” said Lexus South Africa general manager Justin Ryan.
The sedan will be offered in two versions - the ES 250, powered by a 135 kW/235 Nm 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and the ES 300h, powered by a 151 kW hybrid powertrain.
