Revealed back in April, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins are scheduled to arrive in dealerships later this summer. So in case you were already thinking about what should your new truck have, now you can get a little more practical with the new online configurator.
There are only two chassis configurations available at the moment, Crew Cab with short and standard bed, that fetch $32,710 and $33,010 respectively with the Chevrolet badge. If you fancy a GMC emblem on your truck, then you must add a $1,500 premium. The Regular and Double Cab for both brands will be made available later.

Our selection? Well, we went for the standard bed Chevrolet Silverado with 4-wheel drive and the most expensive trim of them all, the LTZ Z71. Besides the Blue Granite Metallic paint and the Cocoa/Dune interior, we opted for a set of all-terrain white outlined-letter tires, chrome rectangular assist steps, hard tri-folding tonneau cover, a chrome fuel door and power sunroof. With a few other goodies added, our truck ended up costing $46,895.

There's plenty of options to choose from if you have a deeper pocket, so just head over to Chevrolet and GMC to build your own pickup truck.
