When GM released the Z/28 last year, this stormed the muscle car world, proving a Camaro can be really good friends with the Nurburgring, for instance. Nonetheless, the bubble was burst earlier this year, when the carmaker announced all the 500 units of the 2014 Camaro Z/28 had been spoken for. Fret not muscle and handling cocktail fans, you can still find some Z/28s waiting for your in dealerships.
We did a brief search earlier today, with a little over 30 units being listed at various dealers across the US. While not all the ads may be valid, a number of them certainly deserve their listing, so you can grab one right now.
As for the prices, Chevrolet’s advertises a MSRP of US$ 75,000, but the ones we found range from a little under that to a meaty US$ 91,165. Many of the ads come with a negotiable status though.
Even if you miss out on this opportunity, there’s still hope. We’ll remind you GM stated it would build an extra 2,500 units of the Z/28 in the coming years. Should the market demand it, the aforementioned figured can be boosted. Oh and don’t forget to mix that information with the fact that 2015 should bring us a new generation of the Camaro, as a 2016 model.
While you’re thinking about the Z/28, allow us to remind you Lingenfelter is currently playing with one and they're not afraid to take it to 800 hp.
