BMW Motorrad USA just announced the pricing for its latest 5 2014 models that will be introduced in late winter/early spring of this year, raising the number of models currently available on the market to 20.
The most awaited bike is, without a doubt, the highly-customizable R nineT, the anniversary model launched late last year by BMW Motorrad. The US pricing for the 2014 bike starts at $14,900 and includes standard kit like integral ABS, 3 mounting points on rear axle housing, adjustable rear shock rebound damping, aluminum fuel tank, LED rear lights and many others.
The 2014 R 1200GS Adventure will start at $18,200 and will be equipped with ASC, 2 riding modes, steering dampers, longitudinally adjustable passenger seat, height adjustable rider seat and many other features as stock. The bike will be available in Alpine White, Olive Green Metallic Matt and Racing Blue Metallic Matt.
The 2014 R 1200RT will start at $17,650 and will now have 2 ride modes, steering damper, on board computer pro and LED white turn signals included for free. Colors range between Quartz Blue Metallic, Callisto Grey Metallic Matt and Ebony Metallic.
For $29,950 you can get the 2014 K 1600GTL Exclusive model in the US that comes fitted with all options as standard. Amongst them you’ll find heated comfort backrest, inner bags for top case & side cases, rear seat arm rests, ground lighting, LED rear lights, indirect lighting for the instrument cluster, all of them new for this model.
Last, but not least, the 2014 S 1000R will start at $13,150. Standard kit includes integral race ABS, ASC, 2 ride modes, anti-hopping clutch, LED rear light, drop sensor, 46 mm upside down telescopic fork (adjustable) and adjustable rear rebound damping. This model will be available in Racing Red, Light White and Frozen Dark Blue Metallic. More details in the attached pdf.
