DMC-Lorenzini Kawasaki rider Vladimir Ivanov is finally out from the intensive care unit of the Imola Hospital in Italy.
Ivanov was brought in after a very hard crash during the World Supersport race at Imola, on June the 30th, and was diagnosed with a broken femur and a double fracture in his pelvis. Having undergone two very difficult surgeries, Ivanov is now reported as being stable and he was moved from the IC unit to the orthopedic department. His initial condition was critical due to massive blood loss.

Vladimir's fiancee Eugenia and team boss Vanni Lorenzini were next to him, and riders from other teams came in to visit him, and massive support and encouraging words come from social media and fellow riders, such as Toni Elias, Loris Baz, Chaz Davies, Marco Melandri and more.

Eugenia would like to thank all for their support in these hard times. The good news is that Vladimir can feel his left leg again and the recovery prospects are really good now.
