German automaker Volkswagen has announced local market pricing for the 2013 Golf Variant. Now offering more luggage compartment and a longer cargo area, the 2013 Golf Variants starts at €18,950, which can bring you the entry-level 85 HP 1.2-liter-engined version in Trendline trim.
The same 1.2-liter also comes with 105 HP, while the bigger turbocharged 1.4-liter TSI is offered with 122 and 140 HP respectively. Moving on to diesels, the familiar 1.6-liter mill is available with the same 105 HP, while the 2.0-liter boasts the power up to 150 HP.
Also, the 1.6-liter engine is available with 110 HP in the fuel-efficient BlueMotion which is said to return 3.3 liters / 100 km. All variants are equipped with the stop/start system as standard, but other features, such as electronic stability control, five-inch touchscreen display, air conditioning and seven airbags are included.
Using the options list, customers will be able to order their cars with numerous safety and convenience features, including Front Assist, Automatic Distance Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Keeping Assist or Park Assist.
