The Toyota Yaris was launched back in 2011 and is among the newest superminis available in Europe. Yet because of the strong competition, the Japanese car company has decided the best thing to do was to update the car with what supermini buyers actually want: more features instead of new styling.
There are no changes for the drivetrain, but 2013 Yaris buyers in Britain do get a revised Trend grade and better TR and SR packages that add new wheels and styling elements.

The car in our pictures is the new Yaris Trend, which as you can see now features blacked out B and C pillars that give it the coupe look. It also has added chrome rings around the fog lights and chrome door sills and mirrors covers.

The Trend models come with Toyota 1.33-liter petrol engine mated to the standard 6-speed or optional automatic, available only as a 5-door from £14,570 or £15,570 for the automatic.

The Yaris TR options pack adds 15-inch ally wheels, rear privacy glass and black rear pillar decal, while the SR package gives you all that that and 16-inch alloys.
