2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Review by Mercury News

Toyota’s flagship sedan Avalon offers tons of interior space and Lexus-like quality as well as matching comfort and onboard tech. The 2013 model year can also be had with a hybrid powertrain to increase quietness and reduce fuel consumption.
Listed as a recommended buy of Consumer Reports magazine, the 2013 Avalon Hybrid scores an average combined fuel economy of 37 mpg.

Mercury News tested the Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring model, which they praised for its interior quality, “with controls and gauges well arranged and an expansive atmosphere in both front and back seats.”

Besides the comfort, the new Avalon rides firmer than before, providing a more dynamic experience, while the 200 hp total hybrid system power offers enough to move it from place to place.
