With the first batch of Toyota’s i-Road leaning EVs going mostly to Toyotown, automotive journalists had the occasion to do a quick test drive one in an enclosed location recently.
Autoweek is the second one to post a review with the i-Road EV, which got described as “fun but not thrilling.”

The tandem two-seater is powered by two electric motors mounted on each of the front wheels, which can also shift their position up or down in order to make the vehicle lean into bends.

As with the other reviewers, Autoweek haven’t found out too much about the i-Road’s technical specs, just that it will go for 31 miles (50 km) at a steady speed of 19 mph (30.5 km/h).
