Not having won a race yet, since his return to Yamaha, multiple world champion Valentino Rossi says there is still a lot of room for improving the bikes.
With days before the home race at the iconic circuit Mugello in Italy, Rossi declares he is quite happy to race a Yamaha at Mugello: "I love the track and I'm really happy to go back there with Yamaha. It is a track I really like and a good result is important. Unfortunately, we are still not fast enough so we need to improve, especially in dry conditions. We must work hard and improve the bike. The Mugello race will be difficult, but we will try to do everything to get the best result"

Even if the team and fans are looking forward to see him win in the Gran Premio d'Italia TIM, Rossi adds that a podium would suffice. Having won no less than 9 times at Mugello across the three MotoGP classes, Valentino Rossi is by far the most successful rider on this track.

The weekend MotoGP race is definitely to be watched, as the straight line in Mugello is huge, and we just know how devilishly fast the Honda machines are in long runs. And with Honda's increased power in the exits, too, it remains to be seen whether Team Blue can set up their bikes to compensate. Via MotoGP.com.
