Mercedes hasn’t managed to fully tighten the leaky internet pipeline that’s been feeding us all of their car ahead of the scheduled debut, but at least there’s only one day to go before this, the new GL-Class, should have made its official debut.
We’ve already shown you the seven-seater luxury SUV fully undisguised, but these are official photos from the Mercedes Benz press kit, and they have fallen into the hands of Autoforum.cz.
The 2013 GL-Class is based on an extended wheelbase version of the platform used by the new ML-Class.
The styling of the new GL is very strong, especially with optional AMG kit on it. The three-row SUV features plenty of chromework, a double-bar chrome grille and LED running lights.
The 2013 GL-Class’ engine lineup will of course be borrowed from the ML, including the range-topping AMG with 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8.
In case you’ve fallen in love with that interior, know that this leather and wood is exclusive to the designio pack, with is Mercedes’ signature high-end interior.
