2013 Lexus CT 200h F Sport Fails to Impress a Reviewer

We’ll agree that the Lexus CT 200h has been forgotten a bit with all the resources spent by the automaker to revamp the IS model, make a new concept and test a new coupe, but this is probably the first review in which the tester doesn’t find it too attractive or money-worthing.
Recently reviewed by examiner.com, the guy driving it said that it is uncomfortable, too crammed, pricey for the amount of things you get (?) and found the “Eco Mode sluggish and pretty unresponsive in order for it to give maximum fuel economy.”

Well, that’s what Eco Mode does Mr. James Nelson, it cuts out the throttle responsiveness so you won’t accelerate unnecessarily and use more fuel. The system also tries to power the car more with electricity so it delays the moment when the gasoline engine kicks in. It’s normal to feel sluggish, you can’t really have both performance and maximum fuel efficiency on a mass produced road car for the moment.
