New spy photos of the upcoming Kia K3 show the car is almost ready to launch onto the Korean and Chinese markets. The car should be revealed this December at the Guangzhou Auto Show and should be produced in China under the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture.
The K3 has been Kia’s global best seller for a long time, so this model holds significance for millions of people, who will buy it during its six or seven year production cycle. The good news is that it’s quite well designed and equipped.
The front end looks a bit like that of the Optima mid-size sedan, with a striking grille and large, elongated headlights with accents at the top.
The interior appears to have buttons on the steering wheel for cruse control, the radio and even one to answer the phone without taking your eyes off the road. the dash is very rakish, like on a Ford Fiesta, and equally well designed.
