The all-new Malibu Eco has been available in the US for about half a year now, and so the time is right for another commercial, promoting the eAssists micro-hybrid tech and the Malibu way of life.
The Malibu Eco is Chevrolet’s most fuel efficient mid-size sedan in the company’s 100-year history. It features eAssist “light electrification” technology, which is engineered to deliver an estimated 26 mpg in city driving and 37 mpg on the highway. This is achieved through regenerative braking and start/stop.
Powering the Malibu Eco is a 2.4-liter 182 hp, DOHC four-cylinder unit. Prices start at $25,996, including the $760 destination.
Standard features include 8 airbags, a rearview camera system and various safety systems as well as air conditioning, an audio system with a 7-inch in diagonal colour touch screen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Cruise Control and power windows.
