Chevrolet is aiming to change American consumer’s preferences, willing to teach them a lesson in efficiency through the introduction of the 2013 Spark, a vehicle that’s far smaller than the cars most US drivers are accustomed to.
The vehicle aims to offer a lot of value for money, retailing for a price of $12,995 (this includes the delivery charges) and offering a pleasing level of standard features across its three-trim level range. This includes features such as OnStar, 15-inch alloy rims, air conditioning and no less than 10 airbags.
The vehicles is powered by a 1.2-liter Four-cylinder petrol unit that is mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox, with customers having the possibility to go for an optional four-speed auto. In addition to that, Chevy will also offer an electric version of the Spark, which will only be available on certain markets and will arrive next year.
