General Motors has just announced its first recall of 2013, targeting 69,000 SUVs and pickup trucks that it has built for the 2013 model year.
The 2013 model year vehicles affected by the recall are the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Express, Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Savana, GMC Sierra and GMC Yukon. These may have been built with a defective park lock cable or steering column lock actuator gear, which may cause them to roll away down a hill. That’s because they might jump from park even without the key in the ignition and without pressing the brake pedal.

“Either of these scenarios may cause the vehicle to roll away after the driver has exited the vehicle, resulting in a possible vehicle crash and/or injury," GM said in a filing with the NHTSA.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
