BMW has finally removed the camouflage and revealed the facelifted X6 Sports Activity Coupe, featuring subtle changes that will be officially shown at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in a couple of months.
So what has the 2013 model year brought about? Up front, there is a new set of headlamps, an enhanced kidney grille with a king added to the lower section for added character, new fog lams that are set in a different location and housed in a matte finish bezel. Round the back, the LED taillights have been revised, and while we’re on the subject we’ll tell you that LED headlights have finally made the options list.
The engine range has remained the same, from the 4.4-liter V8 in the xDrive50i all the way up to the X6 M. The only new arrival is the X6 M50d, the super-diesel we’ve been waiting for, which we’ll cover in a separate post.
The only other thing to mention is the optional M Performance Package, which adds 15 hp to the XDrive35i and 40 hp to the xDrive50i. Besides this, the package also brings 20-inch light alloy wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals, M footrest and door sills, anthracite headliner, and the availability of optional Carbon Black metallic paint.
