Not surprisingly, Audi’s refreshed compact sedan models, the 2013 A4 and S4, scored well in safety testing conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, receiving a full 5-star rating in the process.
The results were based on the government testing under the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP). As well as being safe in a crash or rollover scenario, the two sedans offer advanced driver assistance systems and accident-prevention technologies.

Every A4 model comes standard with front, side and side-curtain airbags, as well as adequate impact protection, including reinforced high strength steel/aluminum crossmembers, reinforced bumpers and rigid occupant cell.

“Safety is top of mind for customers in the market to purchase a luxury vehicle,” said Scott Keogh, President, Audi of America. “We are pleased to see that the safety technologies engineered into these vehicles helped both the A4 and S4 earn top marks in one of the most rigorous crash testing programs in the world.”
