2012 Porsche 911 Carrera Evolves Like Quicksilver

Owning a Porsche Carrera has never been easy for the fans: all your rich friends will have BMW M6s and you’ll be stuck on explaining why you only have 300 or so horsepower and rear-wheel drive. Sure, you might actually be faster on the track, but that’s not what interests the girls in the bar that only care about muscular cars (we made them up, there’s probably no such thing).
However, the new 911 Carrera might just be the biggest bargain of the 21st century. You have countless years of evolution and development behind you, plus most of the components that the Turbo has in a car that’s pure, light and responsive.

Proving your 911 to the bar girls we mentioned might also require you showing them this cool little clip of the car evolving through the ages. We know this is only CGI, but you can tell them this is how the car is actually built... see if that works! And don’t forget to check if they fit in the back, we’d love to know.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
