2012 Porsche 911 Cabriolet Roof in Action

Porsche went to great lengths when it created the open-top version of the new 911, with the carmaker’s designers having the goal to recreate the coupe’s silhouette.
Thus, a semi-rigid, three-piece mechanism was used, with this not only helping the car achieve the aforementioned goal but also being extremely efficient. It all sounds and looks great in Porsche’s official videos and photos, but how are things in the real-life story?

To answer this, we’ve brought the adjacent clip, which shows us a complete walkaround for the vehicle.
