2012 Honda CR-V Commercial: Run a Marathon

Honda has taken some very big hits last year and is probably still groggy, but there are products that it can rely on for a 1-2 sales punch combo hit, one of them being the new CR-V, and the other the Accord. So it’s no wonder the CR-V gets a lot of airtime.
As part of the whole ‘make a list of things to do in your crossover’ marketing campaign, Honda has added another objective to your Leap List - at #3, it’s running a marathon. Now, there is one particular problem with this commercial. after you’ve done all those miles for the first time in a competitive environment, are you really willing and able to drive safely?

“We all have a few things we'd like to get to before leaping into life's next chapter. Maybe it's skydiving. Maybe it's Mardi Gras. Maybe it's learning to Salsa. We call it your Leap List. It's everything you wanna do before everything you oughta do,” Honda says.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
