The street-use destined Boss 203 can be yours for a MSRP of $40,995, while the Laguna Seca edition will set you back $47,990, with both prices including destination and delivery costs. Customers can also enjoy various optional goodies, such as the motorsport-inspired kit for Boss 302, which includes a set of Recaro seats and a Torsen differential and retails for $1,995.
Both versions of the Mustang are powered by a 440 hp 5.0 liter V8 powerplant, which offers plenty of fun, both on the road and on the track.
We’ll remind you that Ford offers a special feature for the Boss 302, in the form of a TracKey. This means that the vehicle gets two keys, with each one of them activating a certain engine management setup.
The first key, which uses a black body, offers a street set-up, combining power with the comfort needed for everyday driving. As for the second key, which comes finished in red, this activates the TracMode ECU software, playing with over 200 engine management parameters, such as the variable cam timing, spark maps, engine braking and fuel control.
The TracKey PCM software is installed by an authorized Ford dealer after the customer takes delivery of the vehicle. The owner can enjoy a powerful street machine or use the red key to summon a racing beast.
