After Jaguar and Land Rover decided to ditch Detroit in favor of the Indian venue, and Ford announced a global debut will take place there, BMW also shows its focus on the growing market for performance vehicles. Yes the brand new, 2012 BMW M5 saloon will make its Indian debut at the 2012 Indian Auto Expo, according to AutoCarIndia.
This is the fifth generation of the world’s most successful high-performance sedan in the premium segment, while also being the first to use a turbocharged engine - the 4.4-liter unit borrowed (and boosted) from the X5 M, which is not only more powerful but also less thirsty than the old V10.

This promises to be one of the most exciting performance machine on the Indian market next year!
