Ladies and Gentlemen, we are now one step closer to finding out what car gets to go home with the prestigious European Car of the Year Award for 2012. A total of 35 vehicles entered the competition, but now the list has been trimmed to seven cars.
So, let’s get to the point and tell you what names made it to the short list (we’ll just use a random order): Ford Focus, Opel Ampera, Toyota Yaris, Range Rover Evoque, Citroen DS5, Volskwagen Up, and the Fiat Panda.
The vehicles will be analyzed by a panel of 59 judges coming from 23 countries, with this including automotive journalists and people from the automotive industry. The winner is scheduled to be announced on March 5, just before the 2012 edition of the Geneva Auto Show begins. You can place your bets now...
